This is a great local pub with a great selection of beer and food. The veggie options are a little basic with no non-fake meat alternatives, but still ok enough once in a while. It can get extremely busy when there is cricket on at the nearby ground, The Oval. In summer the outside area is amazing, both front and back, and offers a welcoming atmosphere.
Lovely food. Clean cozy pub. Nice selection of beer, including multiple zero alcohol options. Lots of pictures on the wall that were a good talking point. And some quirky design ideas, like the minimalistic taps in the rest room.
Came here with a group for Sunday lunch. Staff were very accommodating of our large group which included a baby and a dog. Using the app to order was easy & worked well with the staff. Food was lovely & arrived for most of our party very quickly. (Highly recommend the roast beef and truffle cauliflower cheese) Pricing as you’d expect for London. Only issue was some of our mains were quite delayed, but a staff member did notice and quickly rectify this.
A modernised pub that manages to retain the cosiness of a conventional one. I was bummered to find out it didn't offer any pie on the menu, as any pub would do, but I loved it renovated deco and atmosphere so much, I'm still leaving 5 stars here. Loved the collection of replica paintings here. Klimt, Modigliani, Van Gogh, you name it.
A very nice beer garden. Booking in advance is highly recommended as this is a really nice place. The outdoor seating is very good, with floral decorations and amazing lighting. There is an overhead covering so it is also perfect for a rainy day. The food here is good. The fries are especially good. The burger is average but we came here for the environment but not the food so we think it is acceptable. Good service and reasonable price.
