We used the Handy Squad last week for an electrical issue with our dimmer light switch, and we were positively impressed with the service. Patrick was very professional and polite, and he fixed the faulty dimmer switch super quickly. Also impressed with the Admin team, they were responsive and helpful, booked us in in no time and were really polite. Definitely recommend them.
Ive used them a few times for basic handy work and all OK. Then tried their Plumber services. Having taken over £150 off me a guy turned up. He diagnosed my issue as the shower head (like I hadn't tried that first) then decided it was something to do with my boiler. He told me what I already knew about my toilet, namely it needed new part. After 20 minutes of doing nothing except making everything worse, he left. After email and calls, I've heard nothing from them. never again.
The Handy Squad are amazing. I had hired them a few times no and they have never let me down. Rather than hiring a stranger and being worried about who will turn up, I can trust the Handy Squad Team. I recently hired them to undertake half a day of odd jobs. The guy turned up on time, was polite, helpful, skilled and cleaned up after each job. They also do plumbing, electrics and more so make sure you book the Handy Squad for your jobs.
