5 ⭐ on everything other than their Disabled WC is located downstairs at their wonderful Brompton Road location.
Been here three days in a row because of convenient location. Servers were perfectly polite but all seemed to be either newly or poorly trained. V slow service. All three mornings there has been no stock on various basics including oat milk, porridge, zero pastries left, and on the last day I got a plain dry scone as there was no cream, butter or jam left. The toilets were also not well kept.
I stopped over for a tuna melt and the store had it in stock. Short queue and didn’t wait long to be served too. Plenty of seating spaces provided with social distance observed too. Clean restaurant with friendly staff too.
The food / drink is what it is however the service was probably the slowest I’ve ever experienced in a place like this. Never seen staff so slow and relaxed making a small amount of orders. Felt like we waiting 10 minutes just to have order taken with only 1 customer in front of us. Would hate to see what this place is like with lots of customers at once. Can see other reviews complain about the speed of the staff too.
